I TWIST LIKE A CORKSCREW

Day 15

I twist like a corkscrew

The sweetness rising

Rufus Wainwright lyrics form his song, ‘Foolish Love’.

It is amazing how two lines can sound so sensual while he is singing about heartache.

The song goes: I twist like a corkscrew, The sweetness rising, I drink from the bottle, weeping, Why won’t you last? Why can’t you last. I love the contradiction between love and pain.
